New Developments: lots of smiling and cooing at us when we talk to him. Smiling with his tongue sticking out. Trying to grab his feet. Making lots of noises especially when trying to get our attention. Getting scared at sudden sounds. Sleeping 6-8 hours straight at night. Getting better at finding his thumb or a finger to suck on. Rolled over belly to back three times, then refused to do it again since... Sitting in the bumbo for several minutes at a time.
Favorite toys: still likes the piano play mat, but gets bored quicker. Likes the bumbo now. Likes rattles some. Starting to sit in his exosaucer and jumper with blankets around him and seems to like those.
Favorite Activities: eating, music, white noise, bath time are still favorites. His very favorite thing is to sit in our laps facing us and being talked to. He's obsessed with fans, on or off. Looking at the mobile in his pack n play.
Most Challenging Times: fighting sleep is much better, but we still have some nights where he fights it more. Challenging times are fewer and fewer. Probably the worst time is around 6 pm on days where he refuses to nap, but that's not too often.
New Places I Went to this month: Cracker barrel to eat with Lorianne and her kids, Belk and Walmart to shop
Other Things to Remember: How determined he is to grab his feet, smiling with his tongue out, sleeping sprawled out in my lap, the way he plays with my shirt or holds my hand while I feed him, the heartbreaking but adorable cry/pouty lip combo when his feelings are hurt
