5 weeks old

Tristan is 5 weeks old today. He was 9 lbs 4 oz at last week's baby weigh in and I'm betting he's close to 10 lbs this week. He has had a good week. He had some fussy days late last week, but he's been pretty content and alert this week which is so fun. He did great at night earlier this week, sleeping for 4 or 5 hour stretches once a night, but the past two nights, he's gone back to every two hours with not too many daytime naps, so mommy has been exhausted. Fingers crossed that those longer stretches of sleep come back. He is starting to coo more which is precious. My favorite is the adorable coo he makes after sneezing. He still smiles in his sleep and I can't wait until he smiles for real. The worst part of the day is between 7 and 10pm because he fights sleep so bad. Getting him to bed is hard, but he goes back to sleep easily in the middle of the night so that's nice.
